Once again you can sample products, learn about the richness & variety of the Melbourne’s coffee scene, watch competitions of the best baristas in town, attend coffee classes,  enjoy on–site roasting, interactive workshops and a few celebrity guests (I can’t wait to find out who is going to be there this year).

Melbourne is renowned for great coffee and at Villa & Hut we pride ourselves on being right up there with the best in town.  That’s why we’re so very excited about the 2011 BeanScene Coffee Expo at the Melbourne Food & Wine Show on June 3, 4 & 5. As part of this annual event the Baristas at Villa & Hut Kafe are going to go head to head with the very best as part of the Latte Art Smackdown.  Our Barista team is now in full training mode and we just want to say  fire up those grinders and froth that milk because we are coming after you …….”Bring in On Melbourne !!”

Get ready this Feb – Villa & Hut will be introducing the most luxurious organic hot chocolate.

Who doesn’t enjoy a bit of chocolate and now you can feel a bit less guilty about your indulgence – it’s organic.  Organic chocolate uses only select cocoa beans which haven’t suffered from heavy pesticide sprays and are fair trade.  This is what I call win/win.

How could something that’s good for the environment be so incredibly delicious?
