Are males the new trendy females?
After successfully introducing the Pink Moorish architecture inspired 12 once cup it got us thinking.. Would it be aimed and embraced by our female customers? Or would males find the adventure, fun and appreciate the beauty of the design.. Are we really all from one planet or do men really come from mars and women come from venus? We can learn so much from a person who orders a hot beverage from us, or so we may think. These days the metro-sexual male has confused us all !! As a couple approached the register one afternoon, a man dressed in tighter jeans then his female friend, longer hair then the average girl and a slight glow to his lips as though he had just applied lip gloss made me wonder. I thought that he would order a standard cappuccino with two sugars, possibly 12 once take away. Is it because a cappuccino was once for the not as serious everyday male coffee drinker?, its slightly warmer than most coffee, contains a decent amount of silky froth and a dust of chocolate to create a element of sweetness.. a far way away from my morning hit of a double shot short black.. Anyhow as the man ordered a 12 once, extra hot, soy Chai latte in our pink Moorish designed cups it got me thinking… men really do want what women want.. When later that day approaching a table with a male and a female we could once presume that the soy green tea blended chai was sure to be what the female ordered and the strong cappuccino with two sugars was for the male but once again i was wrong!
